It has been a while since we have done an event that isn’t focused on a particular grower, region or wine fair,one that is about nothing more than getting together for good food and wine.
With that in mind, on Sunday 16th November we are teaming up with our friend and chef Tim Spedding to throw a proper Sunday lunch at Broadway Market butcher & restaurant Hill & Szrok.
Tim is currently the sous chef at Michelin starred restaurant The Clove Club and before that worked at The Ledbury, amongst a bunch of other places you would like to eat. He’s also a fan of the sort of wines that we love, so getting together to put on a lunch seemed a very good idea indeed. Expect a menu that takes full advantage of the season’s larder and the sort of pure, joyful wines that make a lot of sense on a Sunday.
The butcher has quickly established itself as one of the best in town, serving choice cuts aged in house in intimate surrounds. As it is a small space, we will be offering two sittings to make sure as many of you as possible get the chance to come along.
