On Monday 10th of June we welcome Simon Rizzo of Lamoresca to London for an evening celebrating Sicily at Jolene Newington Green.
Lost amongst the rolling hills of Sicily’s rugged interior, the Lamoresca farm is home to vineyards, olive groves, prickly pear, almond and fruit trees, which have been farmed organically by Simon’s family for over two decades. It is a special place, captured so beautifully in pure, nourishing wines which speak loudly of their island home.
On the night, you will be able to work your way through a beautiful à la carte menu of island classics. Think sfincione, arancini, caponata, crudo di gamberi, spaghetti ai ricci di mare, pasta alla norma and the best seafood our shores have to offer cooked simply on the grill, followed by cassata and cannoli.
Alongside, we will be offering all of Lamoresca’s wines by the glass and bottle, with Simon on hand to share the story behind each.
Tables are available from 5pm and can be booked via the restaurant’s OpenTable.
If you’d rather just pop by for a glass of wine and a bite, the terrazza will be open all evening for drinks and snacks and there is no need to book.
We hope you can join us for what promises to be a beautiful Monday night.
