On Sunday 23rd of June join us for an afternoon at Polentina in East London celebrating one of our favourite regions, Puglia.
Polentina’s chef Sophia Massarella has written a beautiful à la carte menu featuring emblematic dishes from the region’s varied coastline and rugged interior. Expect classics such as pittule, crudo di mare, riso patate e cozze, ciceri e tria and fave e cicoria, alongside bombette inspired by the fornelli of Cisternino.
Alongside, we will be pouring the wines of our favourite grower in the region, Cristiano Guttarolo. From vines planted over the karst terrain of the Murge Plateau, Cristiano’s sunkissed, vibrant wines make so much sense alongside dishes such as these.
Tables are available from 12 noon–6pm and can be booked via the restaurant’s website
Polentina is a small, intimate space and we expect these to fill up quickly, so please don’t hesitate.
We hope you can join us for some Puglian sunshine.
