On Sunday 18th of May we welcome Renaud Guettier of La Grapperie to London for a leisurely afternoon at Hector’s.
Renaud’s wines are amongst our favourites in all of the Loire, and the deep, mineral takes on Chenin Blanc and Pineau d’Aunis that he crafts from old vines in the Coteaux du Loir possess a wonderful capacity to age. For the occasion, Renaud has dug deep into his cellar, and alongside a host of new releases, we will be pouring a fascinating collection of older vintages from magnum throughout the day.
Channelling the spirit of the vigneron’s casse-croûte, we’ll be serving the finest goat’s cheeses, rillettes, and terrines, alongside radishes and butter, some beautiful asparagus with lemon mayonnaise and of course, a nice salade verte.
All are welcome from 1pm, and we’ll be pouring all day long.
As always, there is no need to book, but please keep in mind that Hector’s is a small, intimate venue that is not so suited to large groups.
We hope you can join us for what promises to be a great afternoon.
