On Thursday 6th of August we are teaming up with our friends at Behind This Wall to host a summer party on their wonderful outside deck at Oval Space. It is one of the most incredible we have seen in London, looking right out to the sunset, Regent’s Canal and Hackney’s iconic gas towers.
To make it a night to remember, we’ve asked our friend Ed Wilson from Brawn to man the barbecue for the evening. Ed will be cooking a few of his favourite things, think Tiger Prawns & Nam Jim, Lamb Neck & Mojo Verde, along with his famous saucisse au couteau, made with nothing but rare breed pork, sarawak pepper, a little sea salt and a good splash of Jo Landron’s Muscadet.
To wash it all down, we’ll be pouring plenty of our summer favourites available by-the-glass or bottle, with a focus on easy drinking and good times. Large formats will be available, because we all know the dancefloor can be thirsty work. The guys from Behind This Wall will be making a selection of Italian-accented cocktails featuring Mauro Vergano’s vermouth and chinati and wine from our growers.
It ain’t a party without music and our friends Phil & Jonny have got you covered. They will be playing records from sunset until very late. There is no need to book for this, just pop by after work for a bite and a glass of something, or stay until well past midnight.
