Ahead of his visit to London later this week, we are happy to release a whole bunch of new releases from Jacopo Battista of Ajola.
In the rolling hills outside Orvieto, Jacopo farms three and a half hectares of vines up to seventy five years old planted over clay and sandy loam of volcanic origin. Facing east, they sit over four hundred metres above sea level and the situation lends a fresh, fragrant character to his wines.
Much like the man himself, Jacopo’s wines possess an easygoing charm. They are the product of respectful farming and a curious, sensitive mind which allows him to produce pure, nourishing wines that carry a beautiful sense of place.
Jacopo’s wines are now available on Tutto a Casa
