Just in time for this glorious sunshine, we are thrilled to have received another collection of beers from Brasserie des Voirons.
The beers Christophe brews in his little brasserie in the shadow of Mont Blanc are some of the best we have tasted and this is perhaps our favourite release to date. There is a delicious wild-fermented blonde ale, and a brace of the fascinating collaborations he embarks on with France’s great vignerons, including one aged on the lees of Yann Durieux’s sublime Burgundy, Jeannot.
Alongside, we have the first-ever release of his incredible Bière Vivante de Framboise, made with raspberries picked in the mountains of the Haute-Savoie. Light, bright and unbelievably refreshing, we cannot think of anything better to enjoy outside in the sunshine.
