As we begin to contemplate the arrival of spring, we are biding our time with two rays of sunshine from Puglian grower Cristiano Guttarolo.
These are Cristiano’s second releases from the 2023 vintage, a challenging year that saw him lose almost half of his grapes due to disease amongst the vines. Despite the trials and tribulations, these are amongst the best wines we have tasted from him. As ever, whilst resolutely Mediterranean in spirit, the limestone and elevation lend the wines a luminous quality that makes for something truly unique.
