New from Eloi of Sistema Vinari

As the first signs of spring are finally emerging, it feels high time to share some new wines from Eloi Cedó Perelló of Sistema Vinari.

Mallorca is an island that offers a unique climate for growing grapes. Though it spends most of the year bathed in sunshine, the vineyards benefit from both the breeze of the Mediterranean and the cool, dry winds of the Mistral. The fascinating local varieties are grown over what the locals call ‘Call Vermell’– red clay soils that are incredibly rich in iron and lend the wines their earthy, briny character.

This latest release features a number of rarities, including just the third white Eloi has released–a stunning Malvasia Banyalbufar from Cati Ribot’s old vineyards in Santa Margalida, a rosado that spent almost four years in the bodega and a wonderful blend of Listan Negro and Malvasia from ancient vines on the island of Lanzarote.

Alongside, there is a new vintage of the vibrant Escursac, Lo Vilero and last but certainly not least, perhaps the best vintage yet of the wine formerly known as Chateau Pacquita, Fato.

Eloi’s wines are now available on Tutto a Casa
