When it comes to Moscato, few do it better than Ezio Cerruti, who produces iterations of the grape that run the gamut from sparkling to one of Italy’s great passito wines and seemingly everything in between. A native of the Langhe, from his beautiful vineyards planted on steep slopes outside the village of Castiglione Tinella, Ezio is a quiet, humble vignaiolo who largely flies under the radar. His wines offer tremendous value and with their gentle aromas of fruit and flowers and clean, mineral notes from the region’s chalky limestone soils, they bring some much needed sunshine. We are thrilled to see the return of Ezio’s maceration, Mac Fol and also to have a little of his sparkling Rosato for the very first time. These sit alongside his Ri-Fol, Fol and Sol, meaning we have a little of his Moscato in every guise. Ezio’s wines are now available on Tutto a Casa |
