New from Le Coste

In recent years we can think of few growers anywhere who have been as prolific or consistently brilliant as Le Coste.

Whether easygoing, elevated vin de soif or the kind of achingly pure, focused wines that come from their very best vineyards, new releases have come thick and fast as of late and Clementine and Gianmarco have rarely put a foot wrong.

These latest arrivals capture the breadth and diversity of their work, featuring the return of their sparkling rosato, some pure, rustic vino da tavola that offer fantastic value, straight classics in Bianco, Rosato and Rosso, the latest harvest of their incredible olive oil and two new wines which seek to raise awareness about a cause very close to their heart – the health and biodiversity of Lago di Bolsena.

Recently, local farmers and residents have come together to protest against plans to build an industrial geothermal electricity plant by the lake. They believe that in approving its building, the government has disregarded the potential environmental impact of air, water and soil pollution, as well as the increased risk of seismic activity in the area.

Clementine and Gianmarco will be donating part of the proceeds from these S.O.S Lago wines to the association representing members of the community opposed to the building of the plant.

The wines are now live on Tutto a Casa
