After a brilliant tasting in the Loire back in February, we are excited to share a number of wines young and old from Loire Valley vignerons, the Robinots.
This latest release includes the electric 2023 vintage of their benchmark Chenin, Charme, a special bottling of L’Iris from 2020 that saw three years of élevage, and two sublime expressions of Pineau d’Aunis. In addition, there is a vibrant blend of Cabernet Franc and Aunis that pairs the former’s earth and brambles with the latter’s signature spice.
As always, these are wines of great energy that possess a wonderful capacity to age.
