There is no better time to enjoy the food and wine of Piedmont that in the autumn.
With the temperature dropping, the days getting darker and the leaves falling, we tend to opt for wines that are a little more structured, savoury and spiced. They are wines which have a natural affinity with the region’s food and next Sunday 17th November we are very pleased to welcome two of the region’s most talented young winemakers, Olek Bondonio and Luca Faccenda back to London for a very special dinner at Jolene in Newington Green celebrating the best Piedmont has to offer.
Chef Jack Williams has written a beautiful menu featuring salumi from the region, bagna cauda, raw beef & hazelnuts, tajarin and braised rabbit with polenta. All of Olek and Luca’s wines will be available by the bottle, glass and as a special flight, with the guys on hand to explain the story behind each and every wine.
The restaurant is taking bookings from 6pm and both food and wine will be available a la carte.
