Cabernet Franc from a twenty year old vineyard planted over clay and limestone. The grapes were fermented as whole bunches for a month in open top wooden vats, before being pressed off to big old barrels for two years of élevage. A wine of impeccable balance, it wows with red fruit, earth and spice and has the kind of harmony that suggests it will age wonderfully over the coming years.
