A remarkable Aleatico, from a selection of the best bunches from seventy-year-old ungrafted vines in the ‘Terrazzo’ vineyard. The grapes here were destemmed and the wine spent a month on skins and two years in old casks. From a classic vintage, it displays a tightrope balance and no shortage of poise, offering a cascade of rose, minerals and herbs before a long, savoury finish.
