A remarkable Aleatico, from seventy year old ungrafted vines in the ‘Terrazzo’ vineyard. The grapes here were destemmed and the wine spent a month on skins and four years in old casks. From a warmer vintage, this shows a staggering depth and density and pairs the grape’s hallmark aromatics with intense flavours of rose, minerals and a developed, balsamic-like complexity.
