A blend of two parts Savagnin and one part Chardonnay from parcels planted over limestone and grey marl in Angevré, Beaumont and Sous Roche. The grapes were pressed directly to demi-muids for a year of elévage, before a further year in cuve. From a cooler vintage marked by painfully low yields, this is a wine of subtle power and presence that pairs pristine fruit with real depth. Wonderful now, it will truly reward those who wait.
