This is a blend of equal parts of Traminer and Gewürztraminer and a touch of Pinot Gris planted over clay and limestone in Obernai. The grapes macerated as whole bunches for around a week, before being pressed to old barriques for a year of élevage. A gorgeous shade of sunset, this offers heady notes of red papaya and rose, while the palate is all pith and spice. A wine of beautiful texture and perfume, it is as invigorating as they come.
