An equal blend of Grenache and Carignan from 70 years old vines planted over a mixture of sand and gneiss. Much like the Welcome, half is given a direct press and poured over the fermenting bunches of the other half. These spend ten days getting to know each other, before being pressed off to a single barrel. Just 400 bottles were produced. This is the kind of simple, plush and pure-fruited wine that we love drinking at this time of year.
