Riesling from old vines grown on the steep, rocky granite slopes of the Grand Cru Frankstein. From a cool, wet vintage, the grapes were pressed directly to Alsatian fûts for eighteen months of elévage. This is a wine we’ve loved tasting in the cellar over the past few years and it is such a pleasure to finally have it on our shores. Possessing a deep, stony mineral character, it is compact, dense, layered and nuanced. It evolves beautifully in the glass, suggesting a long life ahead.
