An equal blend of Vermentino and Carignan from Claude Ughetto in the Vaucluse. The Carignan was pressed directly, with the Vermentino added to the juice as whole bunches to gently infuse for three weeks before being pressed to cuve until the following spring. A particularly pale, pretty shade of sunset, this rosé-of-sorts is perfumed with sunkissed strawberry, earth and spice, with a pleasant bitterness that brings refreshment and intrigue.
