Made in tiny quantities, this sublime Chenin Blanc comes from less than half a hectare of old vines planted over clay, limestone and silex, spread out amongst five tiny parcels. The grapes were pressed directly to barrels for two years of élevage, rendering a wine with the kind of nuance and finesse that we expect from the greatest examples of the grape. Built on a backbone of pristine fruit, it displays impeccable balance and is seasoned gently with anise, ginger and the unmistakable memory of flint.
