A blend of Gamay and countless hybrids from a tiny, eighty year old parcel planted over red clay and limestone in ‘Les Varrons’. The grapes infused as whole bunches for a fortnight before being pressed manually to a single old barrique for eleven months of rest. A gorgeous, pale ruby in the glass, this is almost impossibly featherweight and fine, with delicate notes of red berries, earth and spice.
