Litrozzo Rosso


A blend of Sangiovese, Montepulciano and Merlot from young vines. The grapes were destemmed, placed in cuve and vinified as gently as possible to avoid excessive extraction. After just eight days the wine was pressed off and returned to vat to finish fermentation without the skins before being bottled the following spring. There is a gentle spice to the cherry-toned fruit here, which along with some neat little tannins, makes for the best version of this wine in recent memory.
