From a cooler vintage, this wows with delicate detail. The grapes were fermented with whole bunches for a fortnight and pressed over cuve for the winter. The following spring the wine is transferred to old barrels for a year of élevage. This is compact and elegant, the volcanic soils have lent a fine-grained texture and real finesse. Just two thousand bottles were made and only a few cases made it to our shores.
