Gard, Côtes du Rhône



A blend of 80% Cinsault from seventy year old vines and 20% Roussanne from twenty year old vines planted on a garrigue-littered scree in Saint-Mamert-du-Gard. The grapes spend five days on skins, before being pressed off to cuve. The wine has a gorgeous perfume and a very fine texture and at just eleven degrees of alcohol, is remarkably delicate for a wine coming from this part of the world.
