A field blend of Pinot Noir and Gewürztraminer grown by the Bannwarth family in Obermorschwihr, the grapes were picked together and pressed overnight to cuve to begin fermentation. The following spring, the wine was moved to barriques, where it rested for five years without topping up. A highly original expression of a grand terroir, this powerful oxidative wine offers layer upon layer of intrigue.
