Cariñena from forty year old vines planted over five hundred metres above sea level on the highest plane of the Terra Alta. The grapes were fermented on the skins for ten days in a mix of vat and tinajas before six months of rest. The result is an intense, complex wine that pairs notes of black cherry and red earth with firm tannins to wonderful effect. Wild and sanguine, this is incredibly compelling.
