This fascinating blend reflects the breadth of Nino’s work with the Grillo grape. After fermentation, he blends equal parts of Vignammare, Alto Grado, his classic Grillo and a maceration of whole bunches and leaves them to age in a single thousand litre cask for a year. A deep, striking shade of gold, it draws you in with intense notes of almond, citrus, spice and the unmistakable imprint of the sea. Compact and elegant with an incredibly moreish saltiness, it offers a true taste of Marsala and is a wine with an incredible sense of place.
