Colli Euganei, Veneto

Marco’s Birbo (the “rascal”) is a blend of Malvasia, Tocai and ancient varieties from old vines. Fermented and aged in fibreglass, ten days on skins have lent the wine a little flesh and grip. It is fragrant and fruit forward and while by no means the most complex wine in the world, it is all the better for it. One of the few wines you could genuinely drink all day long.
