The steep slopes of Chiroubles are home to the highest vineyards of the ten crus, and Romuald’s old vines sit at around four hundred metres above sea level over granite and quartz. Light, bright and perfumed with red berries and minerals, a salty finish offers refreshment in spades. Served chilled, this is the ideal wine for a simple casse-croûte, whether a good hunk of cheese or some charcuterie.
