Around seventy percent Cabernet Franc from a parcel in Touraine, with Pineau d’Aunis from their old vines making up the balance. The two were fermented separately as whole bunches before being pressed and assembled for fifteen months of élevage in barrel. Light, bright and perfumed with brambly fruits and white pepper, the fruit is framed by faint tannins and a lick of refreshing acidity.
