Espartal BP


Grenache from twenty year old vines planted over limestone in El Pinell de Brai. This was destemmed, fermented on the skins for a week and then aged for six months in vat. An inviting wine, it immediately draws you in with that classic Mediterranean hit of dark fruit, bitter herbs and wafts of spice. Fruity, soft and supple on the palate, it is drinking beautifully now and would be wonderful alongside a nice rabbit stew.
