Le Mont

Chardonnay from a seventh of a hectare of sixty year old vines planted over limestone in Uchizy. The grapes were pressed directly and aged for a little over a year in large foudres. This was the second consecutive hot, dry vintage here and reflecting the conditions this is a wine of great power and concentration. Incredibly deep, it pairs ripe stone fruits, minerals and oxidative spice to incredible effect. It goes without saying that this will truly reward those who wait.
