Le Rouge

2019

Pinot Noir from a sixty year old vineyard planted over a thick vein of limestone in the lieu-dit of ‘Les Plantes aux Bois’ in the Côte de Nuits’ Comblanchien. After a month of maceration as whole bunches, the grapes were pressed slowly over several days to old barrels for two years of élevage. From a classic vintage, this is already incredibly open and expressive in its youth. Available only in magnum, the perfect format for letting this rest in the cellar, or enjoying with friends.
