Mostly Sylvaner from eighty year old vines, with a touch of Gewürztraminer from forty year old vines, planted over limestone in Obernai. The former is pressed directly and the latter is destemmed and left to infuse in the fermenting Sylvaner for nine months in vats. Pale, with gold reflections, it offers delicate notes of minerals, citrus and spice and a long, salty finish, making for the best iteration of this cuvée we have tried.
