Pineau d’Aunis from vines up to 100 years old, fermented on skins for three weeks and aged in old barrels for 18 months. A nose laden with strawberries and spice leads to a palate that displays a tightrope balance. It is not a wine that screams or shouts but it wows with wonderfully exotic aromas and fine detail. A staggeringly beautiful wine, even at this early stage.
