This is made up entirely of Rovello, a rare local variety, from a ninety year old parcel planted over volcanic soils in Taurasi. The grapes were macerated on the skins for four days, before being pressed to chestnut casks for a year of rest. A relative of Greco, this somehow feels lighter on its feet, the perfume more lifted and the tannins a little less coarse, it combines citrus and smoke to brilliant effect.
