A collaboration between Jacopo, Trish of Gazzetta and their friends at Malauva. From a parcel planted over a clay, this direct press of Chardonnay fermented for three weeks on the skins of Sangiovese, before being pressed off to steel to rest for six months. Perhaps the most fruit forward of these releases, it occupies that sweet spot between rosato and rosso, pairing the stone fruits of Chardonnay and Sangiovese’s savouriness to great effect.
