Chardonnay from three different parcels (Clos Bareth, Guille Bouton and Sous La Roche du Feu) all of which are over fifty years of age. Each wine spent two years in old casks, before being assembled for a year in vats. Despite the hot, dry conditions that plagued the vintage, Thomas has managed to etch out a wine of wonderful balance and detail. Compact and elegant, it offers a gentle display of power and a deep, stony minerality.
