Podere Santa Maria

Montalcino, Toscana

Toscana Ansonica

Ansonica from a parcel of forty year old vines planted over limestone in the national park of Maremma in coastal Tuscany. It ferments in old wood, spending just a couple of days on skins, before being pressed off to vats to rest until the following spring when it is bottled without any So2. This is the most easygoing bianco we’ve seen from Marino, with plenty of citrus and stone fruits alongside those firm tannins and that classic salty finish.
