This highly original blanc de noirs comes from a curious combination of Gamay and Aligoté. The two varieties were pressed directly to qvevris submerged in the vineyards, where they rested until the following spring. The result is a happy marriage that truly offers the best of both worlds–the former’s easygoing red fruits seasoned with just a squeeze of lemon from the Aligoté. In a region where energetic whites are hard to come by, this screams apéritif.
