Carignan from vines between sixty and one hundred years old, planted over fine, silty soils down by the river. Picked at the beginning of the harvest, the grapes were destemmed and spent a month on skins, before being pressed off to glass demijohns for three years of élevage. A luminous wine heady with red fruit and wildflowers and full of southern charm.
