Sauvignon Blanc from fifty year old vines planted over clay and silex in La Grand-Cléré. The grapes were picked at great maturity and pressed directly to old barrels for two years of élevage. Time has rendered an intensely fragrant, generous oxidative wine that pairs ripe fruit, honey, nuts and salt to brilliant effect. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for this monumental wine.
