This blend of Trebbiano, Malvasia and Grechetto Bianco comes from a parcel of old vines planted some three hundred metres above sea level in the hills above Bolsena. The grapes spent a week on skins, before being pressed off to a large chestnut cask for a year of rest. A brilliant shade of gold in the glass, its neat tannins frame delicate notes of yellow plum, smoke and minerals, producing a wine of real finesse.
