An early picking of Procanico, Malvasia Toscana and Verdello from forty five year old vines planted over sandy loam in Orvieto. The grapes were destemmed and fermented on the skins for ten days, before being pressed to a large chestnut cask for a year of rest. A pale shade of gold in the glass, this is compact and elegant, with neat tannins framing delicate notes of stone fruits, smoke and minerals.
