Gewürztraminer from a half hectare parcel of forty year old vines planted over sandy, alluvial soils in Ammerschwihr. The fruit was fermented as whole bunches for ten days, before being pressed off to vats for a short élevage. A gorgeous shade of sunset in the glass, this draws you in with heady scents of bergamot and rose, whilst powdery tannins and a pleasant bitterness lend both refreshment and intrigue.
