From old vines of Gamay d’Auvergne planted over volcanic basalt, granite and quartz. The grapes were fermented as whole bunches for ten days and pressed to barrels for just over a year of élevage. From a warmer vintage, this is a little darker and deeper than previous years, though it remains compact, elegant and lifted, with soaring red fruits and volcanic energy making for something very special indeed.
