Merlot from the Ajola vineyards in Orvieto, fermented on the skins for two weeks and aged in a combination of old barrels and vat. It is simply autumn in a glass, marrying brambly fruit, savoury spice and a warming herbaceous character. A pure, rustic wine for the table.
