Sangiovese from a thirty year old parcel planted over clay in Orvieto. The grapes were destemmed, fermented on the skins for a month and the wine spent nine months resting in vat. Bright cherry in colour, the nose is thick with spice, while the palate offers firm tannins and a pleasant herbaceous character that screams for something beautiful off the grill.
